Constance Simmonds is a Red River Metis with the Manitoba Metis Federation. Her family names are Turner, Humpreville, White Bear, Woodman and McKeen. She has worked for forty years in Social Work serving the Indigenous Community across Turtle Island specializing in addictions, mental health and trauma recovery. Constance has had many First Nations teachers and mentors who have encouraged her to continue in her service and to learn and grow in her spiritual knowledge through an Indigenous World View. The following represents her areas of work over forty years.
